05 07 07: Roxy Presents... Max Hattler Retrospective
We continue our artist's screenings on Wednesdays, with a night of films from the very talented Max Hattler, who has VJ'd and screened some of his work at Roxy previously. Tonight will be a presentation of his film and promo work, including exclusive previews of his recent collaborations with avant-rockers Economy Wolf and new music composer Mark Bowden. Starts 8pm, free entry. Biography A graduate from the RCA in London with an MA in Animation, Max Hattler has shown his work at over 150 film festivals including Annecy, Clermont-Ferrand, Resfest and Edinburgh. He received the LUX Award for Best Experimental Film and was described by Dazed and Confused as one of "three of the world's most exciting young animators". Max lives in London where he teaches at Goldsmiths College and works as a director with animation studio Bermuda Shorts.
